Le Cap Ferret

The peninsula of 10 villages: 7 ocean beaches; 15 bay side beaches, every one is different, what they have in common: they are all nestled into the sheltered bay side of the peninsula. Cap Ferret is the last village, situated on the southern point of the peninsula, it separates the bay from the Atlantic Ocean, has a special atmosphere and landscapes, and faces out towards the giant Pyla sand dune.

Piraillan Reservoirs

4 minutes away on foot, a bird sanctuary with an educational walking trail across the site. You may be lucky enough to spot common cranes and egrets here. The trail is also a beauty spot for taking walks or jogging.

Pilat Dune

Mainly known for its rare dimensions, the Pilat Dune is also famous for the beauty and diversity of its natural environment

At low tide, you can stroll from Piraillan across to Le Canon or Grand Piquey
